Band Handbook
The Brewer Band 5th-8th Grade Handbook was designed to assist you in understanding the band program in White Settlement ISD. These policies are in addition to the WSISD Student Conduct handbook. Please take a moment to review the policies and procedures of our band program.

Forms to Return
Paper versions of band forms will be available at our beginning of the year Band Parent Meeting and will be sent home with every student once school starts. Please sign and return these forms to a band director as soon as possible.
Travel Release & Information Form - All band students must complete and return.
WSISD Band Instrument & Equipment Agreement- If your student plays a school-owned instrument, (oboe, bassoon, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, French horn, euphonium, or tuba) this form must be completed before the student checks out an instrument for the year.
Band Fees
Brewer Middle School and Fine Arts Academy at Tannahill band fees are $65 for the school year. This can be paid online and instructions can be found under the "Make a Payment" tab. Charges will be added to your student's Skyward/Revtrak account at the beginning of the school year.
The Instrument Usage Fee for school-owned instruments is $35 for the year. This is in addition to the Band Fee listed above. The Instrument Usage Fee will be charged to the account of students who are using an oboe, bassoon, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, French horn, euphonium, or tuba.
Parent Volunteers
WSISD requires all volunteers to complete a volunteer form each year to be kept on file with the district. Complete and return to your campus at least one week before an event you wish to chaperone. Make sure you fill out the back of the form for your security check to be valid. Please let us know you are volunteering so we can add you to our own volunteer list.
